This course will explore the topics bridging algebra 1 and geometry to higher mathematics. We will be exploring the relationship between tables, graphs, and equations for linear, quadratic, and exponential functions. This course will also study the concept of relations/functions and their inverses using function notation, tables, graphs, equations, and compositions. Students will also continue to practice algebraic skills that includes adding/subtracting/multiplying/dividing polynomials, factoring quadractics, simplifying rational expressions, mathematical conversions, and exploring and solving problems using trigonometry and the unit circle. There will also be use of TI-84 graphing calculators and scientific calculators to increase technology use in the classroom to explore and analyze mathematical concepts.
